Tysons Corner Talk with John Foust
Sometimes if you’re not in politics it’s hard to tell how it all works. Jeff Wu, a Real Estate Specialist in Tysons Corner, McLean, Vienna, and surrounding area, is here talking in this recent video with Fairfax County Supervisor John Foust. One of the first questions Jeff asks, is “What is a Fairfax County Supervisor?”
John answers that question. He explains that the Fairfax County Supervisors are a Board made up of elected individuals from the different voting districts in Fairfax County Virginia. John Foust is the elected Supervisor from the Dranesville District. John mentioned that there is one Supervisor on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors that is not from a District specifically. That is the Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. It is a position currently held by Sharon Bulova.
It was explained that the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors handle a variety of functions, from Budgeting for the county to dealing with calls from their constituents about potholes. Budgeting is likely the most important, and challenging function that they have. Since throughout the county there are a variety of programs that are valuable to County residents and truly need funding. Some examples are Public Works, Schools/Education, Parks, Programs for those in need, and many more.
Jeff also asks John Foust about his opinion of Tysons Corner. John gives a positive outlook on what he calls the driver of the counties economy from past, present and future. Watch the video, and form your own opinion. Either way, you can reach out to one of our Fairfax County Supervisors (like John Foust) or a local Real Estate Professional (like Jeff Wu) to talk about Tysons Corner and all the good things that are happening there.
Make it a great day Tysons Corner!
