Pumpkin Masterpieces

Last week we featured the Tysons Harvest Festival, and this week we are piggy-backing with another event happening in Tysons Corner, Virginia again. In addition to the second weekend of the Tyson Harvest Festival, there will be artisan pumpkin carvers creating beautiful displays until November 1st. The displays change daily and can be seen from 6pm to 10pm. The address is Lerner Town Square at Tysons II, 8020 Galleria Drive in Tysons Corner, Virginia.

Buying, selling or simply living in a home in Virginia, Maryland or Washington, DC, many enjoy having great fall and autumn style decorations around their home.  And what better than a pumpkin, carved or otherwise decorated?!

After looking at all the great displays, you may be inspired to make your own! If you and your family are looking to create your own pumpkin masterpieces, head to St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church for their annual pumpkin patch. This event is held Sunday to Friday from 10am until 7pm and Saturday from 10am to 6pm. The pumpkin patch is located at 8991 Brook Rd., Mclean, Virginia. This event is ongoing until October 31st. The proceeds from this event go to area non-profits in Northern Virginia  that are working to end hunger and homelessness.
