Food Drive for Fairfax County Elementary school children at Food For Others 4/28

We are involved in an annual Food Drive to help local elementary school children on the Fairfax County schools free lunch program during the week.  This food drive is designed to gather donated food items, and then at the same time, create weekends worth of food.  Many of these children in food poverty do not have food on the weekends.  Food For Others, supports 29 elementary schools with these power packs.  And they consist of 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 snacks, 2 dinners, and 2 drinks, all in a one to two ziplock bag.

Come join us.  All are welcome.  And this is a great event for all ages.
