The brand new Whole Foods in Tysons Corner Virginia is set to open 8am on Wednesday. It’s full of great areas and features that our area isn’t accustomed to in a Whole Foods store. Some notable features that stand out are: the street food alley/area, the upper level hang out area that also has a great deck/patio outdoor space, and the fun gaming area.
On the tour also discovered a fun fact. When we asked if there would be a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday at the official grand opening, we were told no by the Whole Foods staffer. In fact were were told “they don’t do that.” However, what they do is a bread breaking ceremony. So there will be a ceremonial bread breaking Wednesday morning. Come early to witness this special Whole Foods ceremony.
Another fun thing I noted during the tour was the pineapple coring machine. It was said that it’s the only one in the area of it’s kind. I’m looking forward to trying that out sometime soon!
All in all, looking forward to this great new healthy grocery/restaurant option in our northern Virginia Tysons Corner area. This should definitely be a boon to area home values. Hope to bump into you there.
