Pulte Townhomes Selling Well in Downtown Crown District
Last week I visited the Pulte sales model of their townhome collection in the Downtown Crown development. It was interesting to hear that they’ve had a solid amount of buyers coming from the empty nester demographic. These are people who’s kids have left their home. And are hopefully “off the payroll,” and fending for themselves. So these buyers don’t want a yard to mow. They don’t want a big physical space to maintain. So the approximately 2000 square feet in these homes is just fine for these buyers. These home buyers are more excited about being able to walk: to the Harris Teeter grocery store, the Coastal Flats Restaurant, and other good quality restaurants and shops. That is what they want as a home owner.
These Pulte townhomes are truly unique and stylish with their modern elevations and rooftop terraces. Just because you don’t have a yard doesn’t mean you don’t have outdoor space to enjoy!
Here are some photos from the Pulte Downtown Crown townhome model and surrounding area.
It is truly a mystery who could have predicted this would be the enclave of desire for Gaithersburg home buyers. But it is. And thee are other options for potential buyers with other builders and home styles.
There is also talk of a connector rail to make it even easier to get to the Shady Grove metro station.
