I recently read an excellent book “Give and Take,” by Adam Grant.
This is a great read for anyone in any profession. It talks about who succeeds most in life, broken down into 3 types of people. When I mention the types of people, you’ll probably place images of people you’ve come across in life next to these categories. Whether you’re in Tysons Corner, or somewhere else around the world, these types or characteristics can be found everywhere. They are Givers, Matchers and Takers.
I don’t think I’ll give the whole book away, but some of the key questions that are explored are:
[-] What does it mean to be a Giver?
[-] What does it mean to be a Matcher?
[-] What does it mean to be a Taker?
[-] What are some examples of Givers, Matchers, and Takers in different life and business scenarios?
[-] Which of these three types of people, Givers, Matchers, or Takers, succeeds most in Life? and/or Business?
