You’re Help Needed! 2017 Holiday Food Drive

Food For Others

The Holidays are a great time of year.  And often in this festive time there is a lot of eating.  Many don’t realize how there is still a lot of need in our area.  Many families don’t have enough to eat.  This need is served by Food For Others.  They are a great local food bank.

We are coordinating a special holiday food drive to help those in need.  And specifically we’ll be making “Power Packs,” for kids.  These are a weekends worth of food for kids who qualify for the county’s free lunch program.

They often go home, and don’t have a “free lunch,” there.

This event will be 7pm on Monday 12/18/17.  Please RSVP and contact me to let me know you can attend.  We are asking people to bring food items for these packs and a small monetary donation if they can as well.

Again, please contact me, so we can have you assigned to bring certain items.  So we make sure the food items are balanced and we can make complete “Power Packs!”
