First Annual Taste of Tysons
First Annual Taste of Tysons is tomorrow. Tysons Corner wants to get in on the food action. Watch out Reston, Arlington, Bethesda, and others. Tysons Corner is looking to replicate the success, excitement, fun, and money raised for charity with it’s own food event. The cities above have had success with their food events: Taste of Reston, Taste of Arlington, and Taste of Bethesda. It’s a great way for a locality to celebrate it’s restaurants.
For those who have not attended these “Taste of….,” events, they are a great way for attendees to try
Plus, it’s a lot of fun to walk down a public street that has been closed to cars, or an area that is usually overwhelmed with traffic. The Taste of Tysons is not held in the middle of a street like Taste of Arlington and Taste of Bethesda, but it is in a parking lot of a Tysons Corner office building.
The exact location of this food festival is off of Boone Boulevard between Route 7 and Old Courthouse Road. Some nearby businesses are Bed Bath & Beyond, Verizon Wireless, Olive Garden, Tysons Bagel Market, Hilton Garden Inn, and Falcon Print and Copy. If you’re using your GPS you’d put in the specific address 8229 Boone Blvd, Tysons Corner (Vienna), VA 22182

Where is Taste of Tysons
The Hours of Taste of Tysons area 11am to 8pm.
Taste of Tysons is a great idea. As Tysons Corner evolves to so much more than it is now. This urban center needs more festivals to give it character and celebrate all the local businesses. These type of events will be great attractions to Tysons Corner during non work hours. Tysons Corner is one of the top 15 cities in the Nation Monday through Friday 9am-5pm. On the weekend it’s a different story.
The Taste of Tysons held tomorrow will have a great group of restaurants. Local Tysons Corner restaurants that have committed to participate are:

The Taste of Tysons event is put on by the Tysons Regional Chamber of Commerce. The event is sponsored by PS Business Parks, Allegra Print and Copy, American Disposal Services, The Business Bank, Sun Gazette, Dominion Virginia Power, Prince William Home Improvement, and others.
Attend the event tomorrow. Eat some good food. Have fun. Enjoy Tysons Corner on the weekend, and not because you’re at the mall!
